The Worst Dodger Moment Of My Life

My fiancee often calls this little site I maintain my "Dodger diary." Sure it's not some pink book with a cheap lock on the front, but I've been known to sit in bed many a night and pour out my emotions to the computer just before slipping away in slumber. Well, dear diary, what the hell just happened?

My Dad, who has been a fan ever since the team moved to Los Angeles, has referred to the Dodgers as "The Bums" for as long as I can remember. It's only now that I understand why.

Orel- I was going to go with "alsknflasnf;asldknf;alsdnf" but I see that you've already trademarked that.

hahahahhahaahaha the dodgers will never beat the phillies until the phils lose their players to free agency in 2011. your best play does roids, and your fans don't show up til the bottom of the 2nd and leave in the top of the 8th. embarrassing. peace dodgers, we'll be seein ya

I'm a Philadelphian and a lifelong Phillies fan and want to apologize for the jackass Philly guy above me. Gloating is disgusting - especially when you guys are really hurting. I've been there many times w/the Phillies and Eagles. It isn't over - you guys could pull off a major upset - I hope you don't, but it could happen. Your team is good though; get rid of Manny - I see you guys winning a WS in 2-4 years.

Anonymous- Much appreciated sir. The guy is entitled to his opinions, but is incorrect in assuming Dodger fans leave in the 8th inning...the 7th inning is actually the preferred departure time.

Where did you hear about the site?

Another Philly guy here, and i'll tell you up front, I hope it is over tomorrow night.

With that said, I understand and can feel for ya, as a Philly fan, I know how it is to see defeat snatched from the jaws of victory. Been there, done that, still have the scars, but a World Series will heal that.

I am still on day #2 of heartbreak. I really loved Jon Weisman's article (LA TIMES). It really sums up how I think we all feel....not angry, not bitter....just heartbroken once again.

Go Dodgers! Stacy
