Last week FSN Prime Ticket covered Game 7 of the 1965 World Series as part of their "Dodger Classics." On the schedule for tomorrow is Game 1 of the 1988 World Series.
I was too young at the time to remember the game, or even know that the Dodgers won. However, having never seen the game in its entirety, you can bet I won't be missing it this time.

Umm, cool but, having listened to 100+ games last year on KABC playing both those soundbites before every game ... kinda done with it. Man I'm a downer today!
Kinda hard not to be a downer. After all, we just signed Jeff Weaver.
Well they're saying he could fill the long man position that Chan Ho Park had. And if laundry needs to be done, sweeping the floor, etc.
I saw 7.5 innings in person. Unfortunately, i missed the greatest moment in Los Angeles sports history. (Dad wanted to beat traffic)
I've seen the whole game re-broadcast on TV and it hurts more and more every time.
I told my fiancee one time what a "mop-up" man was and she got sad! She looked at me and said, "do they know they suck?"
This may be a slightly crazy thought, but I'm still insecure about the closer position, and when Weaver drops down sideways I could almost see him being like Ziegler with the A's. Okay really crazy thought.
