Damn It Feels Good To Be A Dodger Fan

"And listen to the crowd. No crowd."
-Vin Scully, during the Dodgers outbreak in the fifth inning.
For a meeting that was amped to eleven before the warm-up band even made an appearance, the silence conveyed by the Giant faithful over the past two games is telling the story more eloquently than any spoken word ever could. Mere days ago, concern and curiosity were lingering like the marine layer on a chilly December morning. Two convincing victories later however, and the rays of dominance have me reaching for the sunscreen. Make no bones about it, I'm basking.

Torre is so lucky this team is uber-talented. Kemp 7th and Weaver starting tomorrow? Sheesh. At least the bullpen is still alive after tonight.

Pure poetry, and I feel the same way. How would another win tonight be. It might really pop the giants bubble.

KempKershaw- Wolf going eight last night was huge. I can never understand why Torre sometimes uses 3 or 4 guys to get 6 outs.

At least watching Haeger tonight should be fun. He's got a knuckleball!

That bullpen abuse continues. Why start Weaver instead of Haeger or McDonald in the first place, then pull Weaver after 3 when he's pitched well?

And Haeger looks like he might not even pitch tonight, and he'll most likely be sent down tomorrow.

I can't believe Torre used 7 pitchers in a 10 inning game.

I can understand not allowing Haeger to see his first major league action in a close game against a division rival, but with an off day tomorrow it really would have given the bullpen a change to rest even more than usual.

Brandon- I don't want to believe it, but I'm not surprised or shocked at all. That's Torre's M.O.

Haeger didn't see action because Torre doesn't like rookies. He should have put him in after Weaver, would have saved us at least a few arms in what basically amounted to a throw-away-game.
