Statement Game
The offensive explosion was nice, but there's no debate to be had. Today's game belonged to Randy Wolf. Falling a handful of outs shy from a complete game shutout Wolf put the Dodgers on his back when they needed it the most. His performance on the mound (7.2 IP, 3 ER, 10 K's, 0 BB) and at the plate (3-4, 1 HR, 3 RBI) has allowed Dodger fans to exhale, if only for a day.

Channeling a little Ruth today.
And I can't wait to see Haeger tomorrow night.
I'll be in attendance tonight to witness firsthand.
I'd expect a short leash from Torre.
I hope Torre lets him work through any initial struggles he might have, considering he hasn't seen game action in about 11 days. And of course he can rest the pen.
Tonight is really more about what the offense can do against Carpenter.
