Matt beat me to it, so I'll just echo his thoughts.
The Dodgers official website has an article that suggests Casey Blake has agreed to a 3 year deal worth $17 million and will return to the hot corner for the Dodgers.
While he may not put up great numbers (he hit.251 with 10 HR's and 23 RBI's during the last two plus months with the Dodgers) he provides a veteran presence and brings a professional attitude to the game. I think this is a great deal for the Dodgers.
I think it is a horrible deal for the Dodgers. Veteran presence hasn't necessarily meant that is a godo thing. It's just a way to hide that he is old and sucks. And we paid way too much for him last year and this year!
